Ok, I teach this girl guitar. I want something that i can put in her grades. I also want to be able to put in the percentages and then the program will automatically average all of them. I really don't want to use Microsoft because I don't have that kind of money. You know how the schools have a powerschool, if there is a site that I can use that I can put that there without distorting the whole grade sheet. My school has this program on the internet called "powerschool" and they put the grades on there. How can I do that, please stay away from Microsoft stuff, unless you can find something on the internet that I can get it for free. Please, if you don't have anything, don't say "sorry, there is no way to do that". Just tell me if there is a way to do it. I am also going to be teaching her typing and grammar and maybe spelling, is there a way that I don't have to have all of these icons on my desktop, is there going to be a way where I can just switch within this program??????

I am already using that openoffice thing, it won't average every score by itself.

If you can cope with a spreadsheet, visit:

It's free.

You can use Google Spreadsheet. do a search for Google spreadsheet.

What do you mean every score by itself? How do you average a single score? It is a spreadsheet, you have to write formulas to get it to do what you want. Some thing like this. Cells A1 - A20 contain your scores. You would use a formula such as:

=Sum(A1:A20)/count(A1:A20)

That will give you the average of all the numbers listed from A1 to A20 even if all spaces are not filled.
