when you all know there will never be a answer good enough for you. Even if God came down and slaped you up side the head. So why keep asking when you are so sure there isn't. There has been so many questions asked like this.

Because they are bored! After thinking about ways to get richer or get a promotion and manipulate or influence others to get what they want, then they think: oh! what about picking on those who really think there is a God and try to live justly. "Those christians are so stupid."
When you do not want to hurt others then you are stupid.
and when you do evil then you are hip.

It's not a waste of time; it's entertainment!
Really, we're only asking for reasonable proof, not even absolute proof.
And god is not going to slap me silly because there ain't no such thang, but IF god came down and slapped me up side the head, I'd have to say, "Hey, dude, I'm mean You're Holiness, or whatever, what is it with your followers? They insist that I must believe what they belileve, and I don't believe. Now, let's settle this mano-a-mano..."

Why christian wasted there time when they all know they will never change anyone mind? LOL! That might be interesting, I've been slapped but not "slaped"! What is that like? The christian creepies out there do the same thing, are you having fun acting like you're tired of the debate?

I never asked for proof. I know it can't be proved or disproved. Why do theists like you waste your time asking for atheists to disprove it? Why do you keep asking these questions when you are so sure that there is a god even though you can't prove it? There has been so many questions asked like this.

If god came down and shook my hand, I'd have a few questions to ask them, maybe invite them for lunch at a local cafe, but the last thing I would do is become religious. I'm not the kind of person to suck up to great power. I prefer to stand with it eye to eye. Power doesn't impress me, and I suspect that the stories about them would have been greatly exagerated over the ages.

I can tell you if your god ever come down and tell the world he is god and prove it, I am pretty sure there will not be any more atheists.
If you are going to tell me to believe in your god, of course I ask for proof. Tell you what, you have to believe in the FSM because the FSM bible is on the way and it is stated there are he is the pre-alpha and post omega, the creator for all gods (including your god). Do you ask for proof or just say, "yes, he is the more powerful one, I believe in FSM and throw this bible god down the drain?".

thomas was a gnostic meaning he believed in the teaching of jesus, not the supernatural aspects or the ressurection, and that his message was about the light of wisdom with us, as in, ' the kingdom of God is within you". since the gnostics lost the battle for control of the interpretation of Jesus and the gospels were written long after paul's followers were running the show, we can say it was taken over by people who need a supernatural being to take care of them, and that using your brain and being compassionate isn't good enough for you. and a real athiest doesn't care either way, but even if they ask for proof isn't it better to know and admit you were wrong then to have the followers of jesus mislead by those who would twist it to suit their own ends??? think of atheiests as the spirtural acid test. thomas is my hero, he may have needed to see but he'd be the ONLY one who would never be mistaken by someone claiming to be jesus without the proof or just accepting someone who saw him with no means of verifying it. no personal disrespect intended please.

Because the bloody religious keep insisting that their god rules all and that everyone should live by their religion whether they want to or not. If we're expected to live by a religion we don't believe in or agree with, then you had better bloody goddamned well prove that your god exists FIRST
