I've heard from a lot of people that milk and bread are a couple of common ways of relieving spicy foods on your tougne. Are there any other ways?

Don't eat spicy food if you don't like it, or can't handle it.

But frequent sips of water will ease the burn too. Basically, drink a sip of water every mouthful or two. That washes away the spice so it doesn't accumulate. Drinking milk works best if you drink a bit before you start, it coats for a little while and will help.

My Mother had one I can endorse. I burned my lip on some rather spicy chili she made. She applied some sugar. It worked great...

You know, Mr. Man, if you want hair on your chest you'll learn to eat hot stuff. It's good and the after taste is phenomenal, too. Learn to eat hot. Don't a nancy boy!! :>)
