Its a persuasive essay on how romance and commitment is dead these days. and you can argue for or against it...seems easy but i just cant seem to put to gether a thesis.. any ideas? :(

I would argue that they are becoming passe. Look at divorce rates. Look at how much people cheat or treat sex as a meaningless pastime. Just look in the media at how relationships are portrayed compared to how they once were with chivalrous males. I would argue that feminism killed chivalry but that's just my opinion.

what about the wedding industry? People spend a lot of time and money planning and executing lavish, romantic weddings. Also, the tv shows like The Bachelor, Flavor of Love, etc. Lots of folks are looking for love.
