If there's a horrible flavor, you're buying the wrong vodka. Are you using the grocery store plastic jug variety? Good vodka shouldn't have much flavor at all. If you drink it ice-cold, it should be clean like water. For inferior vodka, mix it with something really sweet. Sugar dulls your tastebuds. You won't taste much except sugar.

I'm surprised to hear yu say "horrible flavor" about vodka, but c'est la vie. It's supposed to have virtually no flavor.

An answer is tomato juice, some hot sauce, maybe some lime juice, and some celery salt. They call this a "Bloody Mary"

i agree. if you think vodka has a horrible flavor, you're buying a crappy brand or you have no business drinking vodka. =) try belvedere, level, or grey goose. if all you can afford is crappy vodka, then you can mix it with virtually anything; soda or any kind of juice...i'm with the other guy, go with something sweet to mask the taste of gross vodka.

Sounds like you need a new vodka....try Stoli, it's has no flavor at all. Besides that, you can mix juice, pop, or tonic water, those are popular mixes. If you want to, a cosmo is always good (and classy), you can get cosmo mix if you'd like at many grocery or liquor stores.

From my experience Grape Kool-Aid. For some reason it kills the taste completely. But if you like vodka but not the taste try a better brand like Grey Goose.

If you don't like the taste of vodka, try a better alcohol. Tequila, scotch, cognac, even rum are great alternatives. Just make sure you invest in a good bottle (read: $30 and up).
