Yes, and so have 87% of Americans (or something like that). If something just slips out, there's not much you can do. The polite thing for everybody, including you, to do is to ignore it.
Even Miss Manners once addressed the subject by stating that if you have to say something, blame it on the dog.

Why, yes -- yes I have. When you feel an uncontainable fart brewing and there is no way to escape the crowd then it's best to just go with it. Bend over slightly, lift one leg and exert as much force behind it as humanly possible. Most people will be horrified but those who 'get it' will laugh their a**es off!

Accidentally of course. I was 9 months pregnant at the time, so I couldn't help it. I was waiting in the dr's office and it smelled up the whole room.
What could I do? Run home and get the Glade? Na, I just laughed.

On accident, I have. I just tried to pretend it never happened. I work with mostly quite elderly people, so on the rare occasion it's happened, they tend not to hear it, thank goodness.

particular merely at present! i develop into interior the cinema and my tummy develop into feeling so undesirable it began churning and grumbling! i develop into so embarrassed i attempted to wrap my palms around my tummy and used my bag to conceal it so as that the noise my tummy made could be minimized. luckily the persons around me have been too engrossed looking on the action picture...
