My chihuahua seems to be unbalanced...when he's just sitting there his head sways back and fourth and then he starts to tip over. He doesn't do it all the time. One day he will...and then he'll go a while, like days, without doing it again. He seems very sad...I don't know what to do? Anybody have any clues on what i should do..or what's going on?

Depending on age depends on what is most likely to be the problem.
Some possibilities are:
1.Inner or middle ear infection making balance off.
2. Vestible episode (inbalance in the fluid in brain)
3. Brain tumour
4. Neck pain

If I was you I would see a vet as soon as possible. With this sort of behaviour you dog will be feeling dizzy and potentially nausious.

He may have a mental problem, or possibly a reoccurring ear infection.

I would take him to the vet soon to get a real diagnosis.

He needs a Vet. It may be something as simple as an ear infection. It may be something more but he needs to be seen.

Sounds like bad breeding.. Take the dog to the vet and get him checked over.. We can only guess, a vet can tell you what's wrong.

Maybe he just needs to play with peoples. Generally when dogs are sad that what they needs. Or he might be sad because his head hurts. In that case, it is important to go and see a veterinary as soon as possible. At least, the best idea is to call your veterinary and ask then the best thing to do.
Other reason might be he needs a compagnon to be with.
