Can you be having hives or an allergic reaction to something? You should think back whether you have exposed yourself to something different in the last 24 hours. Perhaps, you have eaten something new or gone somewhere or touched a dog or something.

It doesn't sound too serious, try WebMd, it may sound silly but you can use it to type in his symptoms and they will give you some very detailed ideas about what the bumps could be, the information could also come in handy if you decide to call a doctor. Also try not to self treat them until you get a better idea of what they are, you don't want to make it worse, trust me I've been there. lol. Also, an oatmeal bath may soothe the bumps and it wont irritate the skin, the packets of oatmeal made for that sort of thing can be bought most anywhere and are very cheap. Good Luck :)

Clean your sheets and do a thorough cleaning of your room. It might be dust mites or bed bugs, and maybe even fleas. Second guess is a rash of some sort but as wide spread as you said I can't think of anything rather then a constant allergic reaction or genetic problem.
Get a flea collar for pets clean your room, dust and clean THROUGHOUT.

It is possible that it is some sort of eczema. My daughter has it on her arms and legs, chest area. The "answer" if it is that, was given to us by my cousin who is a doctor. He says to faithfully use eucerin lotion on it. Hers does not itch all the time but sometimes. Try it if you want, it shouldn't hurt anything if it is not eczema. If it is, the lotion made a HUGE difference for her! Best of luck!

Heat rash? Apart from that, have you ever had chicken pox? Everyone gets it once in their lives. I should see a doctor if I were you.
