Actually yes. I forgot about it but think I was probably a life altering experience for us.We had just moved from Kansas to Alabama. My sister and I decided to visit a church near where we just moved. We were teenagers. We saw 2 elders escort 2 elderly black people out of the church,. We later hears that the Grand Pooba of the KKK was a member there. We got a real fast education in racial discrimination. My parents, being very involved in the Equal Rights Movement would have called the local paper if they knew. I think my sister and I knew..."we wern't in Kansas anymore"

I personally have never seen it. The pastor of my Church has helped all. I have a disabled brother, and when struggling, he gave us the money to buy Christmas presents, prayed for and with my brother, and has accepted everyone that has crossed his path. He's a great man. Although, I am very sure there are some that do that. There are those that are very strict, and then there are those that are accepting of everyone, but I personally haven't seen one that has done that.

Fortunately I do not hang around enough to notice either way.

There is one church guy at my college. He's actually fantastic and quite open to different people. Many of the hellfire preachers are probably rude to the minority groups, though.

Gays are persecuted because they did not cooperate properly in the devolving of the servant race into work animals. Minorities are good only for slavery. Women are good only for producing more slaves for the profit of the master (capitalist), the disabled should be extermiated beause they cannot produce a profit for the master (the lord, slavemaster)

you left out the poor....been there, done that

Many so called churches are just country clubs...full of rich snobs that love to show off how "Holy" they are with fancy cars and luxurious apparel. I've even seen business deals being conducted in some of these "churches".....I wish Christ would chase the money changers out again; but, I've learned that these churches aren't His..they are Synagogues (churches) of Satan.

No, I have never seen that. On the contrary, my church elders have always gone out of their way to embrace those who might otherwise be deemed outcasts.

yes & though i cant give any church names i could say not only do they give the cold shoulder to the people you just mentioned but also to those who look "poor" by their standards.majority of so called "born again christian" churches do so.most of the members are so prejudiced as well.

I can't say I've seen it...but usually elders are older people, & as you get older, you start to set your ways.
