I am very proud to go to Marshall University, but their football team is pretty bad. If I remember correctly, they haven't won a game at all this year. Can everyone pray to their respective god(s), or FSM, or chant while lighting candles that our team wins their next game on the 27th? If you don't believe they are really in need of help, turn on the TV to ESPN (I think), which is televising their current game against Southern Miss. It's brutal.

Sorry, can't help...I had the dubious honor of attending college at what ESPN ranked as the 9th worst college football team of all time, New Mexico State University. While attending NMSU, we appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated as the worst Division I football team in the nation!

...all the prayers, candles, spells, and everything else didn't help us until we got to play the only team ranked lower than we were in 1990...our 27-game losing streak finally came to an end because, as the coach put it, we finally played a game without fumbling the snap from center!

Gee, I'll get right on that after I finish praying for world peace, the salvation of sinners, for the Church, for Civic leaders, for the Poor, for the Suffering, for the Sick, for the Souls in Purgatory and other matters less important than football!

I wouldn't waste one ion of spiritual energy on something so trivial!

Dear Jesus, Mary, and Elvis:

Please make this team not suck so badly. Seriously, they REALLY REALLY suck. Apparently, they always fall asleep at practice time, or something, so if you could just kick their asses in gear and make them win one lousy, stinkin' game, the rest of their school would be ever so grateful and would quit pestering you to make them win.

With much love, a concerned citizen

P.S. Please also make unicorns real.

No, you can't ask.

Muahahahaaaaa!

It's too late, not a prayer will save your beloved football team...it's useless, you're not even going to make it to a bowl game.

MUAAAAHAHAAAA!

(Ofcourse, this is all in good fun...all the best to you guys)
