I want to rent a classy room in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles very close to Staples Center and the US Bank, but I don't want to deal with so much dilemma about renting a room. This is my first time, and I don't want to go overboard with my budget.

Well, I'm not sure when you are planning your visit (prices on rooms fluctuate depending on the season), but you might get lucky and find a reasonable rate at the Standard in downtown. There is also a Standard in Hollywood, but the one in downtown is closer to Staples, etc.
You might also try Hotel Figueroa. Although I think the rooms might be a bit dark and old. But it's VERY close to Staples.

The Omni Hotel is located next to the Museum of contemporary art (MOCA) and there are restaurants across the street in the Wells Fargo Center.

Westin Bonadventure which has a rotating bar!

There's a "Standard" Hotel downtown, with a roof top bar with great views, waterbeds and fireplaces. You should check to see if they have any specials.

Biltmore Millenium Hotel....Checkers Hotel

Also, if you go to priceline.com and plug in the budget you are willing to spend, you can find great deals that way AND if you select that you want a four star hotel or better...you may not be able to pick the hotel, but you're GUARANTEED a four star!

Try the Holiday Inn near 8th and Figueroa. Also, for a really nice older hotel the is still well maintained the Hotel Figueroa near Olympic & Figueroa. Both are around $90 a night and quite decent.

First, that's not the Biltmore. The Biltmore become opened in 1912 and there have been many different inns in operation long previously its beginning. The Biltmore become between the 1st Grand inns, yet not the 1st. My learn shows that the 1st hotel in l. a. become the Bella Union earlier located on the 300 block of substantial highway. The Bella Union become torn down some time past and adjusted with a park.

A classy room in the heart of Downtown LA are quite expensive. Westin Bonaventure (see link) is kinda dated, but it's not so expensive.

I don't think it's that close to the Staples Center. Are you planning to rent a car? It's not easy to get around in LA as you can imagine without one.
