I don't know about an ED, but for sure you have a bad self-image. It's not fatal, but the way you feel about yourself can really affect other aspects of your life, like the people you bring into your life and the things you do to feel accepted.

Don't let yourself be consumed with your weight. Visit your doctor and see if there are any health related issues that might be keeping you from gaining weight, and if it really is necessary to do so. Your health is the most important factor in this decision to gain weight. Otherwise, don't stress about it.

You are beautiful!

You are in fact very underweight.

You have a BMI, body mass index, of 15.7. The ideal BMI is somewhere between 18.5 and 24.5. You should aim for a target weight of closer to 120-125 lbs.

You do not necessarily have an ED. However, you DO have a very incorrect understanding, psychologically, of what fat is. I am not a doctor, but I STRONGLY recommend seeing a doctor.

Just because Jennifer Morrison is out there weighing 90 lbs does NOT mean that it's healthy or that you should look up to her. Scarlett Johannsen is a much better role model.

The back of your head is right, 98 pounds at 5'7 isn't healthy. There are many illnesses and diseases associated with being overly skinny. I suggest you seek a psychiatrist or psychologist or guidance.

But, in the mean time, you can still gain weight, eat, and have a great physique. All you need to do is exercise. Make sure you eat at least 1,000 calories a day, it is EXTREMELY unhealthy to swoop below that, especially for a woman. I know girls who are your height, weight 120 pounds, and have a 24" waist. It's all muscle. They're healthy, and still very thin.

Good luck, and please seek guidance!

= O

I thought I was skinny... I'm an inch taller than you and about 30 lbs heavier.

You may or may not need to eat more. Do you find yourself depriving yourself of foods. Unhealthy foods don't count.

If you exercise regularly and eat enough you'll gain muscle weight and not just fat. You may think you're fat because you have fat weight instead of muscle weight. I have the same problem. If I tell people I'm fat they look at me like I'm crazy.

I guess I should say I have too much fat for the amount of muscle I have and not I'm fat. But yeah good luck.

You should speak with a competent physician because at your height, you seem underweight. A good physician will present you with a diet that will help maintain a normal weight for your height and age. You may not even have an eating disorder. Today, the media make the illusion that women are normally thin. Women are constantly bombarded by this unrealistic nonsense and eventually believe everyone should look like that. Everyone has a different chemical makeup and a different metabolism. Our calorie needs are all different, so our diets have to meet our own needs. Good luck.

You won't know if you have ED or not, until you go to the doctor. I know tons of girls are are underweight as yourself, who feel fat. You need to see a doctor, asap. Because being underweight is unhealthy. The average healthy weight for a person your height is 118 to 155 lbs. But keep in mind that the weight range, differs between person to person, even with the exact same height.

It's possible. The key is not thinking badly about yourself but how are your eating habits. That's the key to the whole thing cuz if you're just naturally skinny and eat regularly and healthy but don't gain weight well that's normal to be conscious. IF you eat less purposely to avoid weight gain or you make yourself vomit up your food yeah you have an eating disorder.
You need to ask yourself these questions because eating disorders make people crazy, seriously. I've seen it way to many times in beautiful people who just had their minds twisted by society.

1. If you are really 5'7" and 98 lbs, you are 30 lbs underweight. You can get serious health problems.
2. My guess is, you are not and just provocation, that would be boring.
