After the race I was watching Victory Lane and Carl and Matt were arguing and pushing and shoving and I was just wondering what happened between them.

Bob Dillner reported live from the track this afternoon after the race--and his camera crew caught it--a lil' altercation between Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth that almost led to punches. Kenseth was being interviewed when Edwards approached and grabbed him by both shoulders, ready to fight.

At first it looked like they could be play fighting, but when I saw it the second time, it was obvious to me that Kenseth didn't think Edwards wasn't playin'.

Dillner suggested it must have been something that happened on the track today--he wasn't sure ... and I sure wouldn't know, since I didn't get to watch the race.

What I do know is that the beef between the Roush Fenway Racing teammates didn't start today--it dates back at least to Kansas when the two made contact in the Busch race.

Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth are cool. Biffle, i will take or flow away. what number different drivers are good at racing and are hella buff bodies besides? Carl Edwards is the two interior the comparable kit. i'm grinning from ear to ear astonishing now basically questioning approximately that!

They are team mates. There was one time that Matt hit Carl on the track, but it was next to impossible for these COT's to pass at Martinsville until the second groove came in later in the race. I'll bet Jack Roush isn't too happy that his top 2 drivers were pushing and shoving each other.

Nobody hit anybody. Quit making up stuff. They showed the altercation on Speed during the Victory Lane show. Carl grabbed Matt a few times then raised his fist as if he was going to hit Matt but never did. Carl was very serious though. Apparently Matt hit him on the racetrack and pissed Carl off.

If anyone missed the video you can watch it at http://autoracingsport.com/nascar-videos/video-carl-edwards-and-matt-kenseth-in-heated-exchange-after-martinsville/

I hope Jack Roush helps them work it out, it's too bad, they are both great racers. Matt must have done something big, for Carl to act like that.

Carl Edwards was loosing his brakes and he was bumping kenseth, and i guess later, Matt almost wrecked him, by retaliating on Carl... Everything is smoothed over now, i heard it on Nascar Now on ESPN.

yeah, I saw that it was pretty wild, it seemed like Carl wasn't that all serious about it, but Matt had that bad mood look on his face, what ever it was Matt did not find it amusing at all.. I didn't see Carl cut him off today or anything, so what it was all about????

there has been some bad feelings going since Kansas, Carl needs to pull his head out of the clouds and get real, hes a good guy but I think he is beginning to get a little overinflated ego
