After everyone before me, here goes:
Non-denominational Christianity. It is striate forward. I would recommend a Calvary Chapel. The word of God is taught by what the word says. Not by human interpretations or spare-ritual "tradition" . The pastors of these churches are humble, they don't try to rip you off, they don't teach it if it isn't what the Bible directly says, and they do their research into history and language to give you an accurate understanding of what it it they are saying. You are encouraged to study on your own, you are encouraged to be your own individual and you can wear whatever you want to any service, they don't care. The point is you are there to learn, even if you have purple hair dye in and a plastic bag on top of it with all your tattoos and pj's on. You don't have to be a member. You are part of the family. Always welcome. Their goal is only to serve Jesus and know him more. The praise worship is actually praise. My favorite pastor actually stopped min sentence one evening because he was teaching but did not feel the Spirit leading, so we just praised the rest of the pm.
After receiving Jesus and his love, you will know you made the correct choice. Nothing on earth can change a life as He has done mine. There is no power greater and when you realize this you WILL cry. In that moment, you WILL know. and when you Know the creator, Your whole demeanor changes for the better. It is not easy, so i am not saying it is an easy road. It is harder than anything else I can think of, but it is more rewarding than I can fathom. Even looking back, I still don't know why it is that He loves me, all I know is that I love Him and He loves me even more. The blessings are outrageous.

Christianity of course, since you're studying religions. You will quickly notice religions teach man must work his way towards his 'god', or perfect himself in some manner to achieve 'nirvana', Christianity on the other hand...you will find is the ONLY religion that teaches God came down to us, and saves us, that we cannot save ourselves.
This fact alone is not the only reason however, read the Bible for yourself, and take a long hard look at the world around you.
Start with the Gospel of John, then read the book of Romans.

Why would you want someone to tell you what to believe? And no religious person is going to offer you 100% evidence to support their beliefs because religious beliefs cannot be supported by any real evidence - evidence that would satisfy even a 14 years old science student that is. Beliefs are called beliefs for the simple reason that they are mental constructs without any evidence - if they were other than that, and had some actual proof supporting them, they would no longer be beliefs but "facts". If you want to study something useful, study science. :-)

If I can talk you into a religion then what is to say that you cannot be talked out. I became a Christian at the age of 21 because I found out who God really was after 15 years of asking but no one answering. I grew to hate God. But He revealed himself to me through the kindness of another to another and that was when I found out who God was. It is not about what religion, but what relationship is needed. Jesus Christ was knocking at my door. He did not force himself on me, I asked questions and got many answers and then I let him in. I can give you person stories of why I said yes to Christ. I can tell you all about what he has done for the past 6 years, but I cannot convince someone because it is not the right way to win people to Christ. Jesus is the one who does the Convincing. I am just here to answer some of those questions religion gives people.

If you can find someone who has 100% evidence that their belief is true... well... good luck with that.
After years of studying lots of different religions, I decided they're all pretty much the same and I don't believe in anything.
My advice is find something that works for you. That's what I did and that something, ended up being nothing. I think this is it- this life and no more. I don't think there's an after life, I don't think reincarnation is real. But I don't try to force that on anyone because that's what works for me.
I think if people were more tolerant of that idea, the world would be a better place.

You are asking for something that doesn't exist.
By it's very definition religion is a 'set of beliefs'.
100% proof of a belief is not possible.
Maybe you should try this

i am not going to quote the quran because u are not muslim. and i would be preaching not telling u why i believe in islam
let me tell u something. most ppl do not choose their religion. they just follow it b/c they were raised to. some ppl will claim they chose it, even though they never learned about other religions.
I am a muslim and proud of it. that is important. in order to follow a religion u must be proud
you have to understand ur religion. if u have any doubt or questions ask for a explaination. A good religion is one that allows question and that has logical answers.
i was raised a muslim, but i did chose it. i believe in religions of one God. so i did a little research on the three religions. islam, judiasm, and christianity. i found the most sense in Islam. i found in other religion that religion and worship was not strong. ppl pray when they want to and when they truely need or want something. they attend thier religous center maybe once a week. and when a leader preaches they say just beleive and have faith with no explaination.
in islam we pray to God five times a day to remember him and also b/c we need him. God does not need our prayers, we do. at the end we are all going to him, and he will determine our fate based on our life. in islam it is not mandatory to attend a mosque, but it is highly reccomeneded. I live near three large mosques. and when there is a lecture or dinner they are all packed. In islam you do not need to go to the mosque to be a "good" muslim. you just have to follow the laws, and do good deeds which come along with those laws.
if you have any more questions feel free to ask me
as we say in islam
peace be upon you

I have to agree with The old man, religion is unique to each and every one of us, there's no 'right' or 'wrong' religion, but for those that do follow religion, it should be a personal issue and not a bargaining chip to judge others.

Actually, most religions do NOT claim its a fight for souls on earth. in fact, Christianity is the only one I know of that makes such a claim.
If you really are studying religion, you need to back off and find a more distanced view of religion. Demanding proof and making broad generalizations is going to seriously handicap your studies.

Theres been more people killed over religion
than anything else in this world & by the look of the
way things are going, this trend is going to continue.
So my advice is do not relie on religion, relie on yourself,
Because the evidence proves they can't even save themselves.
