I want to be baptized soon but I have things to work on..like commenting and getting more service done, etc.
There is a scripture that says anyone who is not born again(meaning baptized) will not enter the Kingdom. Baptism is DEFINATLY one of my goals in the future but...what if Armaggedon comes before I become baptized? Will I be destroyed?
I'm kinda scared about that.
Thank you.

John 6:44 No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him.

You are being drawn by Jehovah and that's beautiful !!! Jehovah will not destroy you if he happens to end this wicked system of things while you are still studying.

Jehovah knows your heart. I'm sure there will be ones that are still studying when the end comes. Jehovah knows those that love Him and his Son Jesus Christ.

I'm happy that you are studying. Just keep focused on your studies and meeting attendance and stay close to Jehovah and His Organization.

Love and Greetings from Brother and Sister Weeks, Lakewood Cong. Calif.

This ain't the place... You see some of the responses you've gotten?

The scripture about being born again applied to those who would serve along Jesus as king-priests in heaven (144,000)... You don't necessarily need to be 'born again' from spirit in water, because your goal isn't to inherit the Kingdom. Of course, you should still study, pray, read, etc. and when the appropriate time comes for baptism, you'll know. You have to make your dedication on your own. If the end happens to come before you've physically gone underwater, I'm pretty sure that's not going 2 count against you.

I agree that this is not the place to expect either serious or true answers, except from the few real Jehovah's Witnesses here. But personal contact with your congregation elders is the best way to get an answer to your question that is worth listening to.

Here, you will only get a lot of absolutely ignorant, spiteful, nonsensical, and biased responses, as many of the above replies demonstrates. I don't think many of these people even care about truth, they just want to spout their venom.

Jehovah loves you. The Lord Jesus Christ loves you. Continue to respond to their love, and you will be fine.

P.S. Nothing is more a "false man made religion" than Bill Bowen's Noisy, Jabbering Goats who call themselves "silentlambs."

Jehovah's Witnesses do not follow any man. We are Christians who endeavor always to "follow the Christ," not just talk about him.

Being born again involves being baptized in water (“born from water”) and begotten by God’s spirit (“born from . . . spirit”), thus becoming a son of God with the prospect of sharing in the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3-5) Jesus had this experience, as do the 144,000 who are heirs with him of the heavenly Kingdom. So this being "born again" DOES NOT apply to those with an earthly hope. Baptism is an outward symbol of your dedication to Jehovah....so if your studying, do not expect to automatically become qualified for baptism. Commenting and service and all those other things that we work on is an ongoing process. We never stop working on them. What you need to ask youself is "What prevents me from getting baptized?" When you answer that and you want to worship Jehovah the way he wants you to worship, then you'll take the needed steps. If you don't, then that is your choice.....all Jehovah wants you to do.....is make a decision. If you don't believe what I am saying ask the person who is studying with you or an elder. You can look at the answers here and clearly see those whose advice is in HARMONY with what you will hear. Look in your Reasoning Book, on page 76, on "Born Again"

Dont' be concerned. Go to the one studying with you or the Elders in your congregation. Don't listen to anyone who is not a JW. they certainly won't know and will try to say that JWs are holding you to ransom. Jehovah knows your heart and if you've already made a dedication in your heart, he knows and the other things will fall into place. But beware of what you ask on this site, many are apostates and Satan would love to have you misled away from the truth.

We can't answer that question, only Jehovah knows who will be saved and who won't. It seems as though you have a good heart condition, you seem to be very humble, and that's one of the qualities that Jehovah looks for in his people. Keep up your studies and prayer, read the Bible daily, and very shortly you will be ready to be baptised. But remember the scripture at Acts 2:21 - " And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.” That can give you the faith that Jehovah sees you and knows what is in your heart.

The desire for a Christian to be baptised today is not so that they should be considered "saved". This is not what baptism symbolizes. Jehovah's Witnesses do this so that they can publically symbolize their PESONAL DEDICATION to God through Christ.

Besides, Jehovah's Witnesses are certain that God's mercy will extend to many kinds of people. The apostle Paul stated that God is going to resurrect even "the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15) So, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that many will be saved who are not now Jehovah's Witnesses.

Moises_F previously said this to your question: "The meek are the one(s) that will inherit the earth...not the baptized. God Almighty evaluate(s) us in our heart."

The Scriptures support this:

"I, Jehovah, am searching the heart, examining the kidneys, even to give to EACH ONE according to his ways, according to the fruitage of his dealings." (Jeremiah 17:10)

"Jehovah is the examiner of hearts." (Proverbs 17:3)

Don't be scared about anything. Jehovah is a loving God and knows the heart. Don't let fear of Armaggedon equate with the fear of hell taught by other religions. Talk to the elders about your fear.

I feared that also before I was baptised, but remember John 17:3 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

Jehovah is the god of love say 1 John 4:16. he loves you more then you know. If he didn't then he wouldn't be the god of love.

Remember 2 Peter 3:8-10

However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. 9 Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. 10 Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a hissing noise, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be discovered.

If your not baptised but still love Jehovah while his day come, I am sure you will survive. If that was not true then what will happen to all the unbaptised babies and young children, will god kill them because there too young. I am sure if you survive you will get baptised along with the countless billions resurrected during the 1000 years of Christ's rule.

TAMBOS67 YOU MISSPELLED JEHOVAH'S NAME AND MISSPELLED WATCHTOWER

I agree with the Sisters and Brothers ask the Elders! Just pray to Jehovah for strength and courge and He will answer your prayers. Jehovah knows whats in your heart and knows that you want to be baptized. I'm an unbaptized publisher and one of my goals is getting baptized in the future.

Edit:
What is it with non-believers? You ask a simple question and they try to bring you down. Don't worry about them and don't take it personally when they say stuff like "get out of the cult" they are just bitter and they are just slamming the door on Jehovah and the Truth. But hopefully they will change their minds but as we already know that Jehovah knows whats in their hearts anyway.
