I've really like this guy but he lies to me all the time? what to do? he lies about little things that don't matter at all, and he doesn't just lie to me, either. should i even bother?

Do you want a boyfriend or husband that lies to you? Isnt trust the most important thing in making a life with someone. Youre just infatuated with him. Find a better guy.

We all do that. Men are pathological liars, whereas women only do it when it counts, and are MUCH better at it than we are.
Look for a pattern to the behavior. For example, do his lies center primarily around money, other women etc? If the pattern concerns you, then get rid of him, otherwise he deserves a pass this time around.
I think I'll go and tell my wife a lie right now, and for no good reason. :)

Dump him NOW! Why even bother with a guy you can't trust? What kind of relationship will you ever have? There are plenty of really neat guys out there, trust me. I know sometimes it seems like they're few and far between, but it doesn't pay to "settle" for less than what you deserve. Hold out for the one who really makes your socks roll up and down, and you'll be happier in the long run!

Eh...I wouldn't bother if I were you. He sounds like a pathological liar. Some people really lie without even thinking about, it just happens naturally to them. So, even though he may not even intentionally do it, it's not something I'd personally wanna deal with.

My best friend lies about stupid stuff that makes no sence too, she is a compulsive liar and it sounds like the guy you like is one too. But that isn't a good thing at all if he is anything like my best friend. She lies to her boyfriend a lot and tells everyone that she might break up with him because she likes other people and she cheated on him twice. Lucky for her he still wont break up with her after he found out. pretty stupid in his case

Dump his sorry a55! Habitual liars never change and make for bad relationships.
I know a stud in his mid 30s, nice rod, nice looks, a big hunk, but he is constantly making up stories. I dumped him bigtime, as has many other young gals.

Hey Honey,
There are a lot of reasons why PEOPLE in general lie(not just guys). He is probably lying to you because he wants to impress you. At that young age, you just want to impress the person you like so much you would say anything to make them like you back. He isn't neccessarily untrustworthy maybe just confused.

if its kinds of things that everyone else does or has except thing like drugs and stuff you should understand. but if its just a constant thing dont bother cause he wouldnt be worth it unless you like being lied too.

Stay away. You will never be able to trust him and a relationship is based on trust for one another. If you do not trust your partner, you will never have a happy, and healthy relationship. Do not date him thinking you can change him. People change on their own. How can you get to know someone if he doesn't tell you the truth about who he is. Find someone who isn't a liar.
