one it's boot camp, not BMT. Two, after A school, you must serve in your rating a minimum of two years before you can even think about cross rating. if you are in a CREO 1 rating, you will not be allowed to. If you are CREO 2 or 3, only if you want to CR into a CREO 1.

you will have to manage your time wisely in order to take college courses on your own time once you hit the Fleet( but not at all during Boot and A school)

There are several ways to commission from the enlisted ranks. One, get your degree on your own time and apply to OCS, two, apply to STA-21, three, apply for Warrant or LDO once you hit the right paygrade( E6 for LDO and E7 for warrant)

The Navy is like any other service, and our military services are just like any civilian corporation except with more job security and benefits. The Navy is very pro College oriented and they heavily promote all its members furthering their educations. You also have many opportunities to change jobs if you desire.

its like any other branch. You can put in to change your MOS. You can become an officer through promotion and attend OCS. The more years your in the higher you rank if you stay out of trouble and prove your worth.
