your faith in God is so strong. You can still be happy with a guy or become celibate.

No your're not. It's a good sign that you recognize that being with another woman isn't a good thing and you want to stay away from that because you value your faith. However I would hold off on getting married until you have delt with the lesbian feelings that you are experiencing. It wouldn't be fair to your potential husband that you weren't totally committed from the start of the marriage. Let me say to that you are not "destined" to stay this way for the rest of your life. Many homosexuals and lesbians have gotten help from ministeries that specialize in this sort of thing and help men and women overcome their homosexual tendies with consuling and accountability. The big question you have to ask yourself is do you want to change permantly and put this behind you? If the answer is truly yes then vist the link below to begin the healing process. Hope that helps. I'll be praying for you. Feel free to e-mail me.

We are all sinners. No one sin is greater than another in God's eyes. Knowing this and knowing that Jesus died for us and that our sins our covered through Grace by faith, do not condemn yourself. But know that because of the relationship that we have with Jesus he is who works on us to be more Christ-like. I say keep praying and ask God to help you with this. Be direct and exact. Tell him exactly what you are feeling, what you want, why you want it.
Do not be ashamed to ask for help either. If a minister or someone in church does not help your or judges you, I look at them as not being Christians. Find someone through prayer that can listen to your heart and help walk with you. As for still sinning if you marry a guy and stay "in the closet" and not be with a women but still desire it then that is a sin. Please know that no matter what....Jesus loves you. Your family loves you. And there is someone here praying for you.

You need to take your thoughts captive and let the Word of the Lord tell you who you are. I have walked your path already. Watch what you confess with your mouth because with your
mouth you have the power to speak life or death. Like wise
when you say you are a lesbian you are coming into agreement
with a lie. Once you do this you will start having more pressure of thoughts and desires that are dangerous. I would suggest that you confess these thoughts and desires to the Lord. Its not like he does already know them. Get it out there. Be honest with Him and ask Him for help overcoming this. I am a living witness that you do not have to live in this bondage. Christ died so you could be free. You just have to give it to Him and trust that He will be faithful.

if you believe that god made you then he made you gay. you were born and you are what you are. you should try to be happy and live your life the way you want. being gay doesnt hurt people, you arent a pedophile, you arent a killer, you arent hurting anyone. as long as you live your life with kindness and consideration, try to help others then you are not sinning. dont think about hell or heaven but rather the now, be the best person you can be now. you could be celibate and live in a house and just read the bible and pray all the time, but how are you helping anyone?..you arent...if god gave you life he gave it to you for living it. just be happy....bring on the thumbs down

Contrary to popular opinion, being a lesbian is not something you HAVE to do. Your body does not make you be a lesbian, God can cause grow limbs to grow where there were no limbs, then He can cause you to lose those desires. Homosexuality is wrong, i think you already know this whether you want to admit it or not. There is help for you, first of all you need to seriously seek God and ask for His help, DONT STOP asking. The moment you stop is the moment you fail.
This is not to say that you cannot start again if you do stop, but as long as you say "He's not helping" then he can't.
Also, seek help from your family, hopefully your family is firmly grounded in GOD and not RELIGION. They should stand with you in prayer, if they start to ridicule you and just tell you you are evil, then you need to seek other help, this help must come from God though, secular opinion will just tell you to embrace sin.
I would love to pray for you and your situation, if you ever need to talk, email me: cmetcjr@yahoo.com.
About the specific question, as long as you resist the devil he will flee. You won't go to hell if you maintain the attitude that God can 'fix' your problem, and as long as you don't give into the temptation (just as straight people face the same temptations).

No. God sent His only Son to die for us. John 3:16 says that whoever believes in Jesus will go to Heaven (As long as you remain sin-free).
When you think about it, if God sent all gay people to Hell automatically, then there would be no point in being born in the first place.
I wouldn't marry a guy if I were you, though. That would be living a lie, since you are deceiving people. Jesus said that the truth will set you free...and it will.

Well, since hell is a nonexistent place I'd have to think about it for a little while and come up with a.... no?
Also taking into consideration that as homo sapiens we are automatically inclined to be attracted to the opposite sex as well as our own (homophobes actually tend to show up as homosexuals in laboratory research, and all of our primate ancestors practice bisexuality) God would only send you into hell if you were doing something wrong- and seeing that God made all people in his image and likeness and thus created us with similar natures to him/herself then all your sexuality is is a manifestation of love for fellow man and woman just as God does.
But at the same time Jesus claimed that whatever you do in your mind you might as well have done in reality- soooooo, if hell existed you'd be screwed.

Well I believe in the same thing as you and your family that gay people in the eyes of the Lord and the actions between them are sin and the ones that do those actions go to hell immediatly... But if you think about it you haven't made those actions yet. And I'm sure God sees that.
You have a very good question that only God himself could answer.
Goodluck...hope I helped a little...just my opinion. ♥

I think you didn't sin, because being a lesbian is a hormonal problem, but since you have been fighting of your ownself, then i can say you are doing so well. Because you be able to control yourself, you been able to control your own passion and selfish desire. You didnt sin. According to confucius those who could control themself are victorious. and thats what you are.

God makes that decision not myself , but we can look at Gods standards (ten Commandments) and see How you wil do on that day. let me ask you a few questions......
have you ever told a lie, stolen something or used Gods name in vain? have you veer hated someone? you see Gods standard is the ten commandments, he requires we keep everyone of them in thought word and deed. have you been sucessful or are you guilty of breaking these? listen to your conscience, we have all lied, stolen ect. if you and I died today and stood beofre God he would see us as lying theiving blapshemous adulturers at heart, and would therefore give us the Justice we deserve (hell). but heres the good news, Jesus Christ died on the cross paying the penalty for your sin. you broke the Law, But jesus paid your fine, now you can be forgiven and granted the gift of everlasting life because your fine has been paid. what you must do is repent (turn from sin) and trust in Christ like you would trust a parachute. dont depend on your own goodness or acts of charity to win you a ticket into heaven. Only through repentace in faith in jesus can we be forgiven and granted everlasting life. please think about these things which I have spoken out of Love form my heart.
God bless
