Well, he would have been in the cup chase, if he had not had all those dang DEI blown motors look how many times he was in the top 5 or 10 when the engine blew...It was fun watching him racing and banging a few drivers around today...maybe theres alittle of his dad in him after all....But with the crappy equipment he had had this season, he was screwed big time.

He is in the Nascar Nextel Cup, I'm not understanding the question!!! If you are asking if he should be in the chase then NO i don't think he should be. The drivers that are in the chase drove well enough to get the points they needed to be there, Jr did not!!!!! If your asking if he should be a Nascar Driver then of course he should be, he is a good driver with a lot of bad luck!!!!

If you mean the Chase, No. He wasn't in the top 12 so why would they make an exception for him? and NASCAR says "Oh, we were only going to put 12 in the chase but JR didn't make it so we will now be taking 12 plus JR."

Wow. such distinctive to choose from. i'm kinda an Elliot Sadler fan, yet he isn't doing so nicely this 12 months. once you are going to bounce on the band wagon, that's Tony Stewart who, whilst not interior the Nextel Cup Chase, seems to be the standard season winner besides the incontrovertible fact that. besides the incontrovertible fact that, it sounds like, to me, that's the 12 months of Jimmy Johnson. i'm somewhat specific he's going to win the cup this 12 months.

If you're talking about the chase....no, he wasn't in the top 12. And thats hard to say, because I am a Jr fan.

He shouldnt be in the Chase because he didnt earn it regardless of his motors blowing up. Not enough top 5 finishes or top 10s and a big 0 in the wins column when he didnt blow up to keep him in the top 12 after 26 races--JUST THE PLAIN TRUTH!!!

It's not that he should be, it's that he should've been. That's why he's leaving DEI to go race for Hendrick Motorsports. If Junior has a mechanically stable machine to race he will be in the chase.

He is not in the chase for a reason. You have to earn it

He should be there it is just a shame that he is immortalized and at best he is a mid pack type of guy. He may get one maybe two with the dominance of HMS. If he goes there and run horribly though I say sit him and let Stanton Barret aka "The Fall Guy" get a shot with top equipment.

I do. His car has not been up to par because of his owner wanting him to look bad. Too many blown engines for it not to have been done on purpose. Wait until next year.
