Can you have too much juice? My auntie died from a juice infection, but she had been drinking juice for many years. Is it safe for me to start drinking juices? What types are safe?

Ya, tons of sugar. If I have a glass in the AM it knocks me out.

Try switching to more vegetable based juices. You can mix in apple or orange, but get a press juicers and try some others out. Celery is really good for you, just a little nasty. Carrot, apple, ginger root is the bomb. Again, moderation.

Look for a refurbished juicer. I got an industrial quality one for $20 and it's sweet. Any vegetable can pretty much be juiced and supposedly you can make cool breads, like carrot cake/bread and stuff from the residue.

Ok, and wait... A juice infection? WTF is that?

You need to get some more facts about your auntie. This sounds like bs to me.

Juice is very bad for you. Its high in sugar and very high in calories. Too much juice is not good for anybody. You should only drink a small cup of juice daily. You can have juices just limit the amount you drink. Especially concentrate which is frozen and syrupy. Drink 100% juice or organic juice. That is the best kind for your body.

Juices? All fruit juices are safe my dear, as long as they are pasteurized and not past their expiration date

It is possible to drink too much liquid, even water. If your aunt got an infection from it, she was likely diabetic. My best advice is "all things in moderation." Don't consume too much of any one thing; our bodies were designed to digest a wide variety of liquids and solids, fruits and veggies, meats and dairy.
