I believe that anybody who commits a mortal sin and has no remorse and does not repent is going to Hell according to God. Yes, it is a sin for a woman to have sex with another woman. It is just as bad for a person that is not gay to commit adultery or fornication. These are all mortal sins. God does not discriminate, he could care less if you are gay, straight, black, white, Chinese, Baptist, Catholic or whatever. If you offend him and do not repent you will end up in Hell.

Christians believe that anyone who rejects God's teachings and does not repent goes to Hell.

There are lots of ways to reject God's teachings... He's pretty clear on the Do's and the "thou shalt nots". Homosexuality is only one way to reject God's teachings.. murder, adultery, fornication, theft (except perhaps in some unusual circumstances...like if you are starving), dishonoring God, etc. There are 10 Comandments and 7 Deadly Sins.

If you reject God's clear teachings, and refuse to repent... well then you have rejected God and all that goes with Him... including Salvation and entry into Heaven.

You can be polite, good looking, charming, well educated, kind to children and small animals, and have a nice singing voice and still go to Hell. You can be ugly, short, fat, ignorant, stupid, have bad breath and still go to Heaven. Salvation is not a popularity contest. Salvation is about your relationship to Jesus Christ...nothing more and nothing less.

Salvation is available to all that genuinely repent of their sins (and we ALL have sinned) and turn to Jesus. If you do that you are saved. If you don' t do that you aren't saved. Nothing more is required, nothing less will suffice.

Hmmm...
How to put this?
God is not "Politically Correct"...nor is there any reason why He ought to be.
I believe that, if a person knows good and well what the Bible has to say on this issue, and knowingly and willfully defies God anyhow, then that person has basically told God what He could do with His rules...and what happens to him as a consequence is his own fault.
The same would go for any person who knowingly and willfully continues to break what he knows is God's command.
Now, if the person does not know that being gay is a sin according to God, then he needs to re-read his Bible, if he is truly concerned about pleasing God.
It's not as if gays are the only ones who have sin in their lives that they need to put behind them.
The thing they need to ask themselves is...would they rather please God?
Or would they rather please themselves.
People (and not only homosexuals) who would rather please themselves should not expect to find themselves in Heaven.
Do you let people stay in your house, if they have made it clear that your rules mean nothing to them?
NO?
Well, why would you expect God to do it?

(Btw...I don't believe in an eternal "hell"...I believe that when God said "the soul that sins shall die", He meant just that. Those folks who cannot get along with God well enough to be welcome in His house, or be happy in His Kingdom of peace, will die the second death...the permanent death of the spirit.)

Im a catholic but to answer your question. No. Why is it that gays are on the rise today. maybe god has put this to help people see the fact that being gay should really not be such a concern but to accept it.

No, but everyone must overcome sin here or hereafter before heaven appears. A belief in sensual pleasure is not welcomed in God's presence.

Why worry about it? Christianity says that they do. So, if they are gay, they cannot be Christian or they do not care about going to hell. Either way, they will burn. Yep, I think they will all roast.

yes, if they do not repent (turn away) from their sins and believe in Jesus. We all sin and the punishment for sin is death. But if you are saved, you are forgiven. <>< Thank the lord!

18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
