i am 15 years old and next year i will be 16. i will probably get a job at taco bell or something like that. if i work say 3 hours a day and eight dollars minimum wage and over summer work full time would i have enough money for a computer that is about one thousand dollars by the end of summer? will i have more than enough?

40 hours a week would have you bring home about 250 a week so you only need about 4 weeks full time or 8 weeks of 20 hours a week. I wouldn't spend that much on a computer because you can get a new computer that works for about 400. If you are heavy into gaming it might be worth spending the extra.

You don't need to spend that much on a computer to get one that will work through high school. You can get a useable one for around $500.00. You will not be allowed to work full time becuase of child labor laws. Have fun and save your money. You should be able to get a nice computer at the end of summer.

Even if you worked 40 hours a week at 8.00 you would not have enough. You can buy a computer at Walmart on layaway for much less than 1000.00. What do you want, a laptop? Get a desktop instead and save hundreds of dollars.
