Not tampering with, dealing, with satan. And the non-believers don't even know it. I know what you mean. I do believe it is satan speaking through them a lot of the times, and by answering we are defending our God and hoping something may touch someone's heart. We are 'planting the seed' and that's the greatest thing we can do for Christ. Stay strong and may God bless you.

I am a Christian and I always answer the questions to which I feel capable to respond. Consider the apostles, a great many of the people to whom they witnessed did not know Jesus, yet that was the whole point and mission of their lives.
We have been called to "feed my sheep". Just like we do not have to get cleaned-up in order to take a bath, I do not feel that mankind does not have to believe in God in order for us to begin to witness to them.
We do, in all honesty, have to be cautious. In this area, as in all areas of our lives, we must use wisdom. Some questions posed by atheist's are genuine, asked by people seeking the truth. These are the times when we should share both scripture and our own witness. Other times the questions are argumentative, posed only to create chaos and cause conflict. When I am aware of this, I back out and do not answer the question at all.
Be prayerful in all things and God will give you guidance.
God bless you

No, as this subject is like others when you oppose them. Atheist are no different than any other group in their beliefs. They in effect believe that there is no supreme being, however they do have belief in mankind. So, if you think about this you may come a conclusion of where did it all start? Science has theories about this, with no answer. Every time science finds a new rock or bone they change their opinion as to our origin. God does not change his mind about his creations. Fearing the non-believer as far as Satan being the Atheist's god should indicate to you that we all have a choice as to beliefs. The Christian God Jesus manifested in the flesh, gives origin to all creatures and things, including Satan. Satan after falling out of favor with God do to his desire to become God is, for a time god of this earth for all who will not revere the one and only God of all things. An easy trap to fall into for many. Do not be afraid as a Christian, as you wear the armor of God when you believe in him!

you do not need to be scared of people who don't believe in God. i am a Christian but that doesn't mean people who don't believe in God are bad. They just haven't believed yet. I know some people who don't believe in God but with out knowing it they are following all 10 commandments.
Some of the nicest people i know do not believe in God. Also, about the question thing, you don't have to answer their questions. i know you are worried about what will happen if you don't but in the bible God said "Do not worry" . You can stick to your own questions but do NOT be afraid of people who do not believe in God. and no i do not think it is tampering with Saten.

the question is are your motives right, heart in the right place, or are you arguing your point for carnal reasons. Paul often debated, but it was for the purpose of adding to the body of Christ, not simply playing the i'm right you're wrong game. the motive behind it is what it boils down to. remember we are to be ready to give an answer( 1 Pet 3:15). Also note when engaging into these areas, you need to be prepared, spiritually. The Word is sharp powerful and quicker than any two edged sword....be prayerful

It isn't tampering with Satan. I was once told that when you feel nervous around certain people then that is one way that the Holy Spirit inside of us is warning us to be careful. I would be careful to not to offend because that can push someone away but answer the questions from your own personal experience and just pray that God will give you strength. Don't be scared...just love and try to look at them through the eyes of Jesus.

Just remember, it is your job as a Christian to share the gospel of Jesus, not prove the existence of God or acuracy of the Bible. Just share Jesus with them and leave it to the Holy Spirit to speak to their hearts. But if you do want to know more about answering these types of questions I would sugest studying Christian apologetics. Christian apologetics is that branch of Christianity that deals with answering any and all critics who oppose or question the revelation of God in Christ and the Bible. It can include studying such subjects as biblical manuscript transmission, philosophy, biology, mathematics, evolution, and logic. But it can also consist of simply giving an answer to a question about Jesus or a Bible passage. You can learn more about it at WWW.CARM.org

Please don't be afraid of me. I mean you no harm whatsoever. I am not a Christian, (nor a Jew, or Muslim, etc) but I am a fellow man and only want what's best for you in your life.
Where I, as an atheist, present a problem to you is that I do wish to undermine all the religiosity from my (our) government. That is not to say I wish to strip the United States of a belief in God, but I want the specific branches of belief to back off on my government.
In addition to being an atheist, I happen to be gay. As such, I am not allowed to have the same rights and benefits as all other tax paying people, and I do believe that religious belief in the bible is the reason why.
I hope I have been clear.
Thanks for asking this interesting question.

It is totally normal to feel the way you do, but the key thing is God told us in the bible we must preach gods word to people. By people he meant Christians, atheists, Muslims, or to put it short everyone. I sometimes get scared to talk to people about my views on religion. But than I usually start to think about I might be able to help this person find god and he may help them through any rough times they are going through. I hope this has helped you :) .

Our purpose on earth is to minister to these people. There is nothing wrong with talking to Christians for help, but Jesus hung out with all the sinners, not the priests. If you do answer atheist questions, be kind and non-judge mental. Let the light of the Lord shine always!!!!!!!!!
