I love frontline. ITs great! Find out about advantage if you have cats though. Ask your vet.. I was told not to use advantage on dogs if you have cats around. It hurts them. Ask first.

I use Advantage for my two dogs. It is great stuff, it doesn't stink or make their fur oily. After you put it on their fur will have a little wet spot where the product was applied but that dries really quick. I would highly recommend it. I live in Canada and get my stuff from the vet, for the two dogs for 3 months it costs me $70 for the Advantage for dogs under 55 pounds. Frontline sucks. I have 2 cats as well and the Advantage on the dogs has never hurt them.

Advantage works. I've used it. Fur will look a little oily for a couple of days where the product was applied, but that will go away.

I love it and have been using it for all my dogs and cats for a long time.
It is oily when you first put it on, but by the next morning it is pretty much gone.
I have found that the dog has a "different" smell for a day or two after you apply it. Not a BAD smell....just different.
Personally, I have found that Frontline does not work very well for me. I guess nothing works for everyone.
You can use Advantage on dog if you have cats!!!! They make it for cats too!!!!! That is just bologna!!!!!!

stable quiestion! I even have had the two little and massive canines. I at present have a Jack russel/poodle?Chuaua. he's extremely scared, yet could be very playful. preserving him and his cuteness is a bonus. he's a lap dogs, and he sleeps with me. He does notrun away, we've him off the leash each and all of the time. he's playful around different canines and human beings. great canines- they want alot of exersise. a minimum of 60 minutes an afternoon. in any different case, they are going to be too hyper! maximum are stable canines. they could be those you ought to take looking. in case you fairly decide for a looking dogs, i decide for to advise a beagle, yet they do no longer look to be canines that decide for to take heed to!! in case you do decide for a huge dogs, the lab is all love P.s Pomeranians are little devils, yet they are amazing!:) stable luck Summa

My mom is a vet tech and doesn't recommend Advantage. It doesn't work as well as Frontline. She said pet owners that she's met have not received great results from the product.
But they have from Frontline.
I have used Frontline on my cats and it's been great. I only had to use it for one month. (Apply once a month) My cats are indoors but one of my cats was previously an outdoor cat. She had fleas but I got rid of them quickly and easily. I sound like a commercial but it is a great product.

Yes, it's a good product. No oil, doesn't smell. You only put a dab on the back of the dog's neck, between its shoulder blades.

All of those flea medicines that you put on your dog make the fur oily and smelly. I personally hate when my dogs needs those. It's very gross.
