the army is the best place for you and you can go where ever you want to and enjoy all of the benefits that come with it as you go through the years of serving your country with pride.
but don't run from your problems face them head on and be the person that God wanted for you to be!

You are SO close to being able to leave when the time is right. Get a leather strap and bite down hard for these last few months and move when you can support yourself. You will need money every three seconds ofr the rest of your life. Leave when you find a way to make some. You need a high school diploma to do anything nowadays. The military is a decent idea, I joined when I was 17 myself, the Air Force. Don't take a fighting job or you will be shipped to Iraq! Get a job as admin, mechanical, hospital, freight movement. Anything except a gunner, a foot soldier, an artillery person. You will be a pawn in the war on the front lines. All of the soldiers on the front lines are the ones being killed. The guy peeling the potatoes gets to go home.

Do you have enough money to just pick up and leave?
Will you finish school if you move?
Will you be hurting your family by running out in the middle of the night?
Where will you live?
Are you able to get a job?
Don't you have to be 18 to join the army?

These are just some of the many considerations at hand. It always pays to have a plan when you move...not to just show up somewhere with nowhere to sleep, possibly no money to eat.

You're not letting us know if something happened at home that has given you the feeling that you NEED to leave RIGHT AWAY.

Are you having problems in school, or doing well? Do you have friends, or do you want to leave to make new friends?

What should you do: I think that you should think long and hard about it...before skipping town. Give yourself time to make a plan, make sure you have enough money, etc. Good luck, my friend, whatever you decide. Be careful.
