It can be hard to tell what day she'll give birth. The average for dogs is 63-64days. With my dog I was able to feel the puppies kicking in her belly about a week before she gave birth. Your best bet might be to just look for signs. Some dogs with make contractions 1-36 hours before giving birth. If you can feel teh puppies kicking then it could be soon, so I suggest if you do need to go out make sure its for short periods of time no more then 5 hours and you should be fine.

Good Lord... I can't believe the ignorance of people cranking out puppies... They don't 'induce' dogs -- you don't know when she is due or not since you likely didn't do serial progesterones to pinpoint when she ovulated -- all you know is when she was bred and that could be DAYS before she was fertilized... Sperm stays alive for almost a week so she could easily be well under 59 days. She will go into labor when she is READY to go into labor and if you didn't make arrangements for her to be properly cared for at that time then why in the world did you breed her in the first place?! Likely just another back yard greeder bred litter of puppies that will end up filling up the body piles... What should you do?... get your dogs altered so that you don't ignorantly make any more unwanted puppies... but you won't do that because you didn't want to hear the truth about what you are... go figure...

There is no way to induce labor only c-section;s. I do hope you realize a dog and pups whould be wowrmed ( meds from vet not over counter) at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks old they should be vacinated at 6 weeks old.
I do hope you have money for that.
You take the temp several times a day when it goes below 99 degrees take a teo to three days off school so you will be there for the birth. once the temp drop figure 24-48 hours.

How can you end up having your female pregnant? It takes a lot of time, energy, and money to take care of a litter until they are ready to go home. Vets usually don't induce labor. You have to be there with her when she's due. Honestly, if you don't have time and money, don't breed her because you cannot give you give her these factors. You cannot make a profit by selling puppies unless you are byb or puppy miller.

They do not induce dogs. The puppies come when they are good and ready. Only other option is a scheduled c-section.....along with a BIG vet bill. Does not sound like you can afford that.

Don't breed when you have no money!!!!!

The only thing you can do is to wait it out, make sure you are there.. You bred her, it's your responsibility to make sure you can be there or have her somewhere that someone responsible can take care of her.. You knew this was coming.. You should have been prepared. You cannot induce labour.. Puppies are born when they are ready.
