I am trying to turn my devotionals for seminary into object lessons so i can get more interest from myclass mates. We are doing old testament this year, but ideas from anywhere are ok. (Book Of mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, everyday lessons.) do you have any creative ideas?

Devotionals are a great way to learn to hear from God, this may only apply to girls, so you may not use it, but it can be used for men to learn to hear from God to, have the students read a scripture abotu how God loves them. Something liek Jesus first loved us,
1 John 4:19
We love because he first loved us.
1 John 4:18-20 (in Context) 1 John 4
and then have them take a moment to hear what God is saying to them about how he loves them, maybe ten minutes and then have them write that down on a piece of paper. YOu then seal that in an envelope, that you will never read, because this is personnel between them and God and in a few weeks you give it back to them so they can read what God was saying to them back then.

Dogma is one of the best kept secrets of the Catholic Church. In order to get to Catholic Heaven (which beats Hindu Heaven hands down, but loses by a smidgin' to Mormon Heaven) you must believe in dogma.
Here, in a nutshell, is the essence of Catholic dogma:
Sex is bad and should make you feel guilty.
Money is bad and should make you feel guilty.
Altar boys are bad even though they make you feel good
These two dogmas are the entire essence of the Catholic Church's teachings, and explains their position on everything from sex (it costs money) and abortion (it's from sex), and why you should put money in those little baskets they throw at you during Mass.
From this dogma, the Catholic Church has the Catholic Catechism:
Pleasure is bad and should make you feel guilty.
Food is bad and should make you feel guilty.
Being born is bad (called original sin) and should make you feel guilty.
Eating meat on Friday is bad and should make you feel guilty.
The Catholic Church is good and should make you feel happy.
Modern theologians are in full agreement that if St. Paul had gotten laid, the Church today would be very different. And a lot more fun.

Show them how hard it is to examine the proof when the proof itself has been conveniently removed from the earth by the angel Moroni.
