It appears you left some words out of your question and what is R&S? You fail to single out anyone in particular to investigate, what requires investigation?

You know, I never really figured that an atheist might pose as a Christian, until a rather popular user (he who looks fat in his pants) did do just that, with the intention of proving that he could be as obnoxious as he pleased, as long as he did so under the Christian banner, and Yahoo would let him get away with it.
I think he was trying to prove that Yahoo was prejudiced against atheists. A few people were convinced.
I was shocked.
That act made me lose all the respect I had come to have for him.
You are absolutely right. Some Christians (me, for instance) tend to take people at face value. If you tell me you are a Christian, or a Jew, or an atheist, or a Muslim, or a 41 year old woman, I will believe you.
Of course, people do tend to see others through their own eyes, yes?
Since I can see no reason why I should lie about my faith, I can't imagine any reason for anyone else to do so, either...

We can't be sure that anyone is who they say they are on an anonymous forum like this. I just give most the benefit of the doubt because I don't think many people come here to just to lie about their beliefs.
As far as Christians, though, if I am trying to discern their sincerity, it may be particularly difficult. Since many people who have strong christian faith haven't actually read the Bible cover to cover or researched their religions' history, it would be hard to tell the fakes from the true believers based on the accuracy of their answers.

I'm sure there are trolls who pretend to be Christian so they can say outrageous things and expect people to believe Christians are really like that. I also think there are some people who really do consider themselves Christians which are at least as outrageous as anything a troll can think up. What's more, I am also certain that there are plenty of people who consider themselves Christian but substantial numbers of other Christians (probably fundamentalists especially) would say they are not "real" Christians.
I figure you have to assume people are honest until there is evidence to the contrary.

I know for a fact there is allot of good people of the faith that believe. Even if they have a mixed message they have not been able to prove other than some blind faith or some miraculous event. I know they are kind and loving and do good deeds everyday. And Allah SWT said that not even a weight of an atom in goodness or badness will be uncounted.

Good point!
I bet not all of the Saints are really saints either.
Especially the one that called himself St. Eak
It is almost impossible to satirize the Christians because, as AuntB's answer suggests, no matter how outrageous you make your satire there is some group of believers out there who will upstage you.

So whats the question? it seems to be unfinished or badly worded. Well Like in all religions there are the the true believers and there are the posers, it's just the posers that seem to give the christian religion a bad name, aand most of them seem to go on R&S or wherever to find a fight.

we have no way of measuring how "real" any self-proclaimed Christians are.
But part of the dynamic of insisting the Christian way is the only way, and that everyone should be Christian, you are inherently going to get people who are signing on for the wrong reasons.
Any time any movement reaches a critical mass, it takes on a life of its own in a different way that the "purists" hoped/intended.

That really isn't any of my business, it's between them and God. We are not to judge. In addition God frowns upon Gossip and this question will definitely cause some gossip.
This is the internet, Internet safety 101 is not to assume people are who they say they are.
