I suffer from depression, have a stress and anxiety problem, possibly ocd. I have a lot of issues, obviously. So how do I cope when everything around me seems to go wrong? It's been an on going problem for about 3 years. I know everyone has problems, but when you have to live life with ALL those things I mentioned above it only makes matters worse. So I'm just looking for some advice or suggestions on how I could possibly make things easier for me and those around me (since they also suffer when those things hit me hard). It's really getting to me.

Try to organize your daily routine
with a written to do list. Keep busy
& get outside for a little sunlight
each day.

Have you seen anyone for these problems? My suggestion would be to find a professional (psychiatrist, counselor, etc.) that can help identify the behaviors that might be contributing to your problems, as well as perhaps medication and behavior modification that could help get it under control. Your doctor can help you with referrals, as can possibly a school counselor (if you're still in school), or even some health insurance companies offer hotlines to help you locate professionals/help in your area.

This is too much to handle alone. Getting enough sleep (it sounds petty, but it really matters), eating well, exercise (studies have shown mild depression is treated as well with regular exercise as with medication) can all help. However, what you describe sounds like it calls for more extensive intervention. There is no shame in seeking help, and the sooner you do, the sooner you can find relief.

If I were in your position I would go see a therapist and get on medications to help control these symptoms. I would also look at how I was eating (get healthy) and start walking. I would apologize to those I said unfair and unkind things to and let them know that I was going to get this under control so life could be better for all of us.

Take one 'problem' at a time try to understand why you are feeling as you are & deal with it before you move on to the next one take all the help you can see your doctor let him/her know how you are coping & try to find a selfhelp group or start one there are more people than you out there that feel as you do
good luck
