after a tailors that wud sew on military medals up north please- lancashire, merseyside

For a minute there I thought you were speaking of US military uniforms! In the US, medals and associated ribbons are NEVER sewn onto the military uniform.

I take it from your question you are NOT a member of the British Armed Forces!

British Medals (or any other countries medals) are never sewn directly to the uniform as this would prevent the item from being cleaned.

i can't answer for the different US centers and once you assert insignia i'm assuming you advise like the 1st Infantry patch or the like. For the army on the ACU uniform that's hung on via velcro on the left sleeve, on the older classification A uniform (the golf green ones) it become sewn on the left sleeve and on the robe Blues you do not positioned on insignia. that's the comparable for officers besides as enlisted

If you are planning on never getting your Uniforms laundered or dry cleaned, then do it!
