Some clergymen argue in favor of homosexuality, claiming that Jesus never spoke against it. But is that really so? Jesus Christ declared that God’s Word is truth. (John 17:17) That means that he endorsed God’s view of homosexuality as described at Leviticus 18:22, which reads: “You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.” Moreover, Jesus listed fornication and adultery among the “wicked things [that] issue forth from within and defile a man.” (Mark 7:21-23) The Greek word for fornication is a broader term than that for adultery. It describes all forms of sexual relations outside lawful marriage, including homosexuality. (Jude 7) Jesus Christ also warned his followers not to tolerate any professed Christian teacher who minimizes the seriousness of fornication.—Revelation 1:1; 2:14, 20.

So a man can't have best buds? So the next time some guy hangs out with his male friends, we are to assume he is either gay or endorses the gay lifestyle because (a) he has male friends he hangs out with and (b) he didn't talk about being gay as right or wrong. Well, I guess my husband must be gay because he hangs out with his buddies (all male) quite a bit. I must be one who endorses the gay lifestyle because I encourage him to hang out with his friends.

Jesus' disciples were not only His closest friends, but they were followers of His teachings. If Christ didn't speak about homosexuality, it was because it had already been covered in other places of God's Word (the Bible). There were plenty of other things which Christ taught which were of great importance. If we truly follow the teachings of Christ, we won't be left to wonder about whether homosexuality is right or wrong - we will already have our answer.

Just because you think "gay thoughts" when you hang around with other men, don't project that mentality on Jesus. The Old Testament clearly forbids homosexual behavior (not tendencies.) Jesus followed the Old Testament to the letter and would not engage in behaviors that went contrary to it.

No Donald, that is not true. Many of the guys that Jesus roamed around with were married. And He commanded his followers to make diciples teaching them to observe ALL of his commandments. All of the commandments range from the laws set up in moses day down to his death. He taught his followers that homosexuality was condemned. I believe it is in the fifth chapter of Galations, or Ephesions. I don't have my Bible handy. He did say that men who lay with men would not inherit the kingdom.

There were 12 guys in Christ's entourage. But there were many females also. Not the least of which was Mary (his mother) and Mary Magdalene. Then we read about Lazarus and his two sisters, Mary and Martha. You may think that by creating "inuendo" and "speculation" you can cause someone to doubt Christ's sexuality. But I don't think he was ever in a sexual relationship with anyone. But he LOVED all of those who followed him and believed him.

Just my opinion. God Bless you.

Uh, the ENTIRE Bible is His Word!
Jesus is God, you know that, right? God in the Flesh.
"In the beginnig was the WORD, and the WORD was with God ,and the WORD WAS GOD." John 1:1

So, knowing that Jesus is God, when you read the Bible, and come across the verses that read "Sexual immorality is a sin, and homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of God," keep in mind that Jesus is God.

Jesus died for gay people too. I have a burden for gay people, which most are afraid to get this burden. I believe you can even be saved from homosexuality.
