When I was about 13, bullies would try to push me around, but I would not back down. I was involved in many fights with bullies and lost all of them. None of the bullies ever bothered me again. Bullies don't want to fight, they just want to intimidate you. Fight back and inflict some pain on your brother and he'll leave you alone.

Although telling the school and parents is what you should do it some times falls on deaf ears, as soon as the incident is over you should call the police because if you do not he will continue to do it and I am sure your not the only one he does it to. I followed the schools advice and let it go through the "proper protocol" and my son suffered a broken jaw that was wired shut for six weeks he had a concusion he was almost hit by a bus and he was knocked unconcious ..it wasn't until the hearing that we found out that the 16yr old had 6 prior felonies and they were just moving him from one school to another. So don't wait take action as soon as the incident happens.

Tell your parents immediately, a 17 yo is much stronger than a 13 yo and you can end up being injured.

tell your parents if they don't get him under control the next time you're calling the cops

These type of question always anger me, so many domestic problems can be solved quickly if people reacted to family memebers the same why they'd react to any random person on the street.

If parents won't help try school counselor or teacher. Otherwise the day he turns 18 have him arrested for child abuse.
