Would not "definition" be closer to this?

Definition: The worldwide society of people who actively bear witness of the Watchtower Bible and Tract doctrines. They base their beliefs solely on the dogma put forth by the WTB&TS and the New World Translation which is altered to support WTB&TS's leadership.

(1) This return of Jesus was to happened in 1914, then 1915, then 1918, then 1925 after all these failed, Jesus return was changed to "invisible" in 1942.
Is not holding on to 1914 and changing it to "invisible" 1942 rather than "seen" holding on to a man-made tradition and false doctrine?

(2) Is Jehovah really God's name. "hovah" is "ruin" in Hebrew an "jeh/" is "jinn or demon" So this is much closer to "demon of ruin" than E'Yah!
Who are you to even believe that only Jin-of-ruin Witnesses love God Almighty?

(3) Perfect human life? Jesus Christ did not claim this! Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
This is great error here in doctrine that is put forth by the WTB&TS and many others.

(4) This belief is based on an earthly life hope. This is a faulty premise from the get go. And a trick question to people that do not know the bible. Getting someone to agree to this premise is getting them to accept the "live forever on Earth or die the second death" doctrine. This is what is taught: immortality of the physical body and the soul.
Remember what is taught in the bible: They who love their life will loose it and they who hate their life will gain life. So JWs are trapped by the WTB&TS into works by loving their life here on earth.

Admitting that you are wrong, is not good enough on God's eyes..If you call yourself "God's prophet" and you claim to be God's only Prophet on earth, and only YOUR organization is the Voice of Jehovah......YOU HAD BETTER BE RIGHT! Every single solitary time, or else GOD JEHOVAH, condemns you.

If another religion claimed to be gods prophet..we will take the Mormons or the 7th day Adventists, for instance, and was wrong in their prophecies, the Witnesses would be all over that religion chanting "False Prophet" ...OOPS they already do that with the Mormon's and the Adventists! sorry

I read this response to a question about the changes to the interpretation of Matthew 24:34.

"Since they have never claimed to be infallible or inspired by God, Witnesses' bible understanding comes from research"

That's not what I was taught when I was a Witness. I was taught that JW's were God's people, that their teachings were 'the Truth'.

Once again you insist that "prophet" has only one meaning or definition.

"4: an effective or leading spokesman for a cause, doctrine, or group"

Jehovah's Witnesses certainly fit this definition.

How can you make false prophecies when you have never made a single prophecy?

With a fine tool called "Denial."

If they held the WTO accountable, they'd have to choose to leave and lose their friends and family. It's easier to create a new truth for themself and if they repeat a lie to themself often enough, a lie becomes truth.

Exactly the same I think of this Christians.

The Land Letter was a letter sent to President George W. Bush by five evangelical Christian leaders on October 3, 2002 which outlined their theological support for a just war pre-emptive invasion of Iraq. The letter was written by Richard D. Land, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. It was co-signed by Chuck Colson, founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries, Bill Bright, chairman of Campus Crusade for Christ, James Kennedy, president of Coral Ridge Ministries, and Carl D. Herbster, president of the American Association of Christian Schools.

Jw's never claimed to be prophets in the sense that you're trying to use it. They also admit errors . There is no claim of infallibility.

Have you ever taken your time to set down and personally talk to one of Jehovah's Witnesses to find out for yourself their beliefs. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! They will use your own personal bible to study with you.
Here is just a taste.
Jehovah’s Witnesses

Definition: The worldwide Christian society of people who actively bear witness regarding Jehovah God and his purposes affecting mankind. They base their beliefs solely on the Bible.

What beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses set them apart as different from other religions?

(1) Bible: Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, and instead of adhering to a creed based on human tradition, they hold to the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs.

(2) God: They worship Jehovah as the only true God and freely speak to others about him and his loving purposes toward mankind. Anyone who publicly witnesses about Jehovah is usually identified as belonging to the one group—“Jehovah’s Witnesses.”

(3) Jesus Christ: They believe, not that Jesus Christ is part of a Trinity, but that, as the Bible says, he is the Son of God, the first of God’s creations; that he had a prehuman existence and that his life was transferred from heaven to the womb of a virgin, Mary; that his perfect human life laid down in sacrifice makes possible salvation to eternal life for those who exercise faith; that Christ is actively ruling as King, with God-given authority over all the earth since 1914.

(4) God’s Kingdom: They believe that God’s Kingdom is the only hope for mankind; that it is a real government; that it will soon destroy the present wicked system of things, including all human governments, and that it will produce a new system in which righteousness will prevail.
