We don't believe that Jesus was in Upstate New York. We believe that He went to South/Central America.

How well does Judaism, Christianity or Islam stand up to any kind of analysis?
Just because those events happened long ago (instead of 150 years ago) doesn't make them any less incredible.
Face it, Jesus never existed. If he had, he'd never have allowed the burning of the Great Library at Alexandria. Or the sacking of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. Fact is, it makes no sense to point fingers at Mormons since they are no worse (or better) than saying that bread and wine turn into somebody's body and blood, or that anyone would be happy to eat and drink it.
Why would people wear guilliotines, electric chairs, or a chopping block and axe around their necks? Isn't wearing a cross ultra drama queen stuff of the worst sort?
Out of all the people who were crucified, or burned at the stake, or impaled, or drawn and quartered, or whatever other grisly torture and death routine humans can imagine, why hold up a nonexistent one as more worthy than the rest? Is this a religion by popularity contest?
Please, don't get me started!

Does it take any more of a stretch to believe that Christ showed up, fed 5000 people with 2 loaves of bread and 5 fishes and they were all stuffed? What about him walking on water? What about him dying for our sins so that we can rise from the dead? How about an explosion causing life on earth to begin (btw, explosions tend to cause more chaos not more organization).
Is one any harder or easier to believe than the other? They all require faith or belief in some sort.
I don't know if you have any religious belief or not. Even Athiests have beliefs that they can't support. Agnostics are really the only ones that don't.

It takes some faith to believe in things that we do not readily understand, however, it is hardly a stretch of the imagination. Pray, study the scriptures, try to live the gospel and perhaps your faith and understanding will grow as well.
Christ is not going to come down everytime mankind makes a terrible mess. We are here as Christians and it is our responsibility to do what we can to help alleviate the suffering of those who are ravaged by war, poverty, illiteracy, etc.
What a joke? The joke is that you mock others who are trying daily to make the world a better place simply because you don't understand their beliefs. If you are a Christian then stop criticizing others, take up your cross, and do your part to improve the world!

He didn't "hang out", He visited Joseph Smith.
What is so far-fetched about that? Don't you think taht Jesus and Heavenly Father can do whatever they heck they want?
Oh, and those other places? Why would He WANT to show up there? He'd probably be killed or soemthing. He doesn't go where He isn't wanted. And He isn't going to show up somewhere to save ignorant people from their ignorance.

LMAO.
Get a grip ya wanker!
How do you know he didnt show up anywhere else? Is that your own personal account or other people?
I think you're just jealous that he hasnt shown up to you. and truth be known, if he did, you wouldnt believe him anyway. You'd run right down to your doctor and say, "Hey Doc I am Schitzophrenic."
Which you should probably do anyway. Maybe he will give you some stupid pills to cure your idiot disorder.

It takes a massive stretch to be a Baptist too, or any of the other hundred denominations of Christian idiocy.
