Use Moon Sand... It doesn't get stuck in the carpet like Play-doh and is more versatile than Legos...

I think Play-Doh because you can round it out if you need to and blend it to make really cool colors.

Play-Doh is more malleable - Legos are too rigid and inflexible.

I'd think in your temperature zone, definitely Legos.

Play-Dough is softer and more manageable, plus you can copy the funnies with it! Everyone should carry some funnies around.
