Personally, I tend to ignore anyone who types a response like "Can u see wat I meen". I can't help it. Maybe it is selfish?

But still, I'm absolutely shocked at how anyone could post something like that and not feel totally ashamed (unless their non-native speakers of English)

Yes, I try to ignore it. Its not exactly selfish to feel that way. Theres nothing wrong with telling the truth. Some people just be in a hurry typing their answers and questions, but some people don't really have an excuse for misspelling things. They should use the spell check so they won't embarrass their selves.

No, I go ahead and try to translate it because I figure these are the people who need the most help. If they were educated and affluent, they wouldn't be looking for answers to their problems on Yahoo. answers.

Most of the time these guys are just typing there response in as quick as they can.

I try to figure it out. Sometimes I'm mean and I correct them, but I don't always cos it's very rude.

i think if they use common internet acronyms(lol, etc.) and dont capitalize or use proper aprostrophes its ok. however, some of the stuff ive seen is pretty bad and i ignore those.
