God? Evil? Why we make wrong decisions?

Answer 1

Because we either don't have enough information to make the right decision or we pigheadedly decide that the consequences are worth the wrong decision. (i.e. getting drunk is worth the hangover, the whole chocolate cake is worth the thunder thighs, etc...)

God and evil do not exist, therefore have nothing to do with it.

We make wrong decisions because we lack three things. We are not omniscience (meaning we don't know everything), we are not omnipotent (meaning we can not do everything), and we are not omnipresent (we are not everywhere and everywhen at every moment). So because of that, we make wrong decisions.

We do not have full knowledge, properly understand a situation, or realize the consequences of our decision, so we make the wrong one.

We do not have the ability to accomplish or obtain everything we want/need, so we turn to bad ways (war, crime, deception, etc) to try to get them.

We are not able to be everywhere at once, so we often have to choose the lesser of two evils, or have commitments in one place that force us to neglect another.

Fortunately, we have access to God, who is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present. When we do what he told us, and pray that "his kingdom come and his will be done on earth as it is in heaven", then we receive the guidance, supply and power we need to be able to make the right decisions in life.

We are human,therefore not perfect. We have freedom of choice and decisions therefore we make right and wrong choices.

I suspect our bad decisions are based on our unwillingness to express ourselves in complete, comprehensible language.

Because to an extent we are all hypocrites--saying something then doing the opposite.
