Hell

2007-10-21 11:25:34 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 1 1

The experience of heaven or hell are of our own making in the world of duality, where all polar opposites exist in our limited minds. Euphoria and suffering are also opposites, created when we are attached to "outcomes" based on society's, culture's, and religion's "conditioning"--the only way to avoid either (heaven or hell) is to drop the limited, false self that sees everything in black and white (or even shades of gray) and accept life as it is without the ego mind's "judgment." If one observes one's self, one will soon see that all suffering (and euphoria) are self-created pain and pleasure, neither one a permanent condition. To avoid the heaven/hell self-imposed trap, the ego must be dropped. Meditation is a good beginning practice to begin to see how the untrained, untamed mind drives one's thoughts all over the place--the so-called "monkey-mind" chatter that blinds us to our true nature in the unified field of the Absolute, where All That Is remains unaffected and unchanging. Blessings to all. I am Sirius

I don't think I am going anywhere when I die. I will simply cease to exist.

Life often feels like purgatory, heaven, and hell rolled up into one. No doubt this is what influenced the myths.

If god exists, then probably hell as I don't believe in him. Its not that I believe he doesn't exist, just that I am far too much of a skeptic to have faith without proof, and that rather defeats the whole point. I have also done miscellaneous drugs, I smoke, I drink, and I do not see a need for marriage if I love someone. So yeah. Hell I guess. :S

I know without a doubt I'm going to Heaven, because I've prayed the sinners prayer, accepted Jesus as my savior, and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit!! My name is in the Book!!! (read Revelations)

I've been sooo bad there's no way they'll let me into heaven. I'll have to sneak in and show everyone there how to party!

It's the state of your mind.and what it makes you do.
People think that they can rape, kill, children .and and do gruesome things, and before dying ask GOD
to forgive them, and go to heaven.
But it don't work that way.there's a space between EARTH AND HEAVEN.It's where all the lost souls will spend long after the EARTH is gone
The things we call Ghost are lost souls that who
will never find rest.
Bel eve it or not.

I made my choice years ago to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, repented of my sins (and still do so daily) and accepted the consequence of that choice , which is eternity in the presence of God (heaven). I have not regretted my choice and only become more committed to doing my Lord's will every day I wake up in this life.

It's up to God. If He wills, He can put someone who deserves hell in heaven and vice-versa.
