My cats names are Mea(Mee-Ah) and Tila(Tee-La).

When we moved into our new house, it came with a very pretty calico cats that had kittens in our barn. At first I called her Mama, but after awhile the name Mea came to mind and thats what I called her from there on out. And dont worry, we got her fixed shortly after the kittens were weaned. And the three kittens all found wonderful homes with our family members.

And Tila got her name from the new show with Tila Tequila. LOL The kitty has big eyes and a small mouth just like the human Tila. HeHeHe

I had so much trouble naming my cats. Poor things were nameless for a few weeks. My daughters were little 3 and 1 so came up with all silly names(Fluffy,Squishy etc), which we tried but didnt seem to fit their personalities.

So I sat down and just watched them interact with my kids and me and everyone else and I named them Flute and Myrtai.
I got the names from characters out of books I read by David Eddings.
They were named because they had the personality traits of those characters.

My favouritist cat, was Smoochie. Her name came about because when I first got her alll she did was smooch and cuddle. And she was always very smoochie. So it was a very fitting name.

One day in July of 2000 a pretty skinny horrible looking young cat wondered into my yard. My daughter and father fed it and my daughter named her Princess. She did have a pretty face. A year later when she was coming into the house and living on our back porch and and talking non stop we got her into a crate and took her to the vet.

The vet said, it's a boy and because he never stopped meowing the vet dubbed him "Sir Prince Says Meow Meow". So now my daughter is giving Meow Meow some treats. He is an absolutely beautiful, and large purebred Maine-Coon.
