my chiuahuah mix is in heat and my dachshund keeps trying to hump her and everytime he does she attacks him, is there anything we can do to get him to stop without having to make him leave the house??

Seperate them so one is in one part of the house and the other is in another. A babygate isn't enough though. Have to have a door. Get them spayed/neutered ASAP.

You have a problem. You should have had them fixed. Find someone who can look after you male for the next three weeks and book their spay and neuter appointments first thing Monday morning.

Maybe try SPAY and NEUTER!!!! Works like a charm!!
