The last time I watched one of those Juba Sniper videos. But to be fair, they're not exactly confirmed - half of the time, the victim jumps back up in a flash and scoots out of view.

Would it effect my opinion? Yep. It'd be nice if the deaths of American soldiers were only statistics on the Wikipedia. That's not the case. This is serious stuff here, we don't need to sugarcoat the deaths of servicemen by making them seem like they've always been flag-draped coffins.

But whether the sight of a dead American soldier gives you a negative view of the war or just gives you more resolve, I'll let you decide.

Last night when the President awarded a medal to the family of a fallen Seal who died saving others in Afghanistan.

Seeing them and watching has the same effect. Gratitude, pain and hope. Thankful that my freedom is being covered. Sad at the cost. Hopeful that the numbers will go away. But the threats are still so very clear. I firmly believe if not there they will be over here. And I still feel we have another major attack coming.

My platoon sergeant was killed while we were in Iraq. It was a hard hit to take. However for the honor of him giving his life as well as the other soldiers we will finish this job. The military works that way. Based on the way you asked this question you have no idea was honor, duty, respect, and loyalty even me.

i haven't seen any...and i don't want to...no it wouldn't effect my opinion cause if i heard that he's alredy dead i know he's already dead. whenever i hear about it it's like a number figure...but it still registers...like there's 4 more American families wrecked...you gotta contemplate on it it's not just a statistic.

First of all the question shows lack of moral dignity and lack of respect.
Secondly, seeing a fallen comrade causes a rage even deeper in ones soul to continue the fight until the entire enemy is destroyed at all cost.
