Green eggs, sure. If you overboil an egg the yoke will turn green. Still just as good tasting, but green.

I would eat purple ham, but not green eggs. Eggs really do turn green when they are rotten. Ham is never purple when it is rotten so I would assume automatically that it was food coloring. That said, I don't eat pork, but if I was forced to choose, it would not be the eggs.

My daughter fixed me green eggs when she was ten years old. She put green food coloring in them. She was so proud, and I ate them. Tasted like yellow eggs! I wouldn't eat purple ham, though.

I have eaten them here and there
I've even eaten them in my underwear..
And ham, how I do love my ham,
I've eaten ham with Sam I am.
But now I have something to eat with my purple cow,
I know just the thing, for it is pork, but I don't know how.

Green eggs sure, purple ham...only if its purple from food coloring! if you buy it that way THAT'S SCARY!!!
