WTf i was so happy to hear GTA will come out october or so, but I looked it up and it said "3/15/08" Why did this happen? Does anyone No Anyone who works for Rockstar or is working On GTA IV?

First of all, Grand Theft Auto 4 was pushed back until March 2008 back in August, so that's not really anything new. I new that Rockstar delayed the game since it was first announced in August.
I don't know why it happened, but Rockstar probably delayed the game to add more content or to add online capabilities. And yes the first guy was probably right because games for the Playstation 3 are not as easy to make like the Xbox 360 and both games will come out the same day even though the 360 version may already be completed. But, I've already preordered Special Edition GTA 4 for my PS3 and I can't wait for it.

Several reasons.
1. Supposedly Rockstar is having trouble trying to make the game the best that it can be for the PS3. The PS3 architecture might be too advanced for Rockstar, so it's having trouble with it. Also supposedly, Rockstar has a deal with Sony where the games must be released at the same time.
2. Rockstar is having a difficult time trying to fit everything on the DVD-9. Rockstar asked if it was possible to make the game on HD-DVD, but MS said so, so Rockstar had to back to the drawing board and try to trim it down to fit on the DVD-9. If it can't, it will be released on multiple disks.
3. The most likely reason is that Rockstar just wasn't ready with the game. It's an ambitious game, and Rockstar just wasn't ready to release it.

U guys are right but you all forgut about some thing
They are making Midnight club Los Angles too...and The new
Midnight club is going to be so cool like Test drive unlimited
So thats one of the reasons why it take a long to make GTA IV
coz they are making 2 really famous and cool games at once...

there having problems with
the ps3 version they need more
time too get it done thats all
the 360 version is done
but cant be released until
the other 1 so sorry dude
