no, because there can be numerous gods for one religion.
"God" is a title, not a name. The religions who only have one god call him God, for there is only one, but the others who believe in many gods call them by name.

Well not quit, some religions have an older, elemental force creating and then overthrown by the god(s). Others just have the world there or a series of worlds there. There are a number of diverse options, but a single creator is in the minority.

Not necessarly. Some religions have multiple gods who do different things. For example, I know that hindus have thousands of gods, each with a different purpous, and they didn't create earth.

No, there's a difference between Creator & Maker,
and a difference between the LORD & God in flood story,
difference between God on high: Law & higher God: Grace,
and life or death difference between awful lawful & mercy full.

Why do you always say that God "a god" has created many things and you never say that man has created a countless number of gods?

no, since not all religions have a single god; or, in other words, they're not all monotheistic. and it doesn't have to mean that. for some people, god is simply an imponderable; for others, he's the answer to life, yadayadayada. or you can be like me and be agnostic (or, if you're catholic, you'll have no idea what "agnostic" means and you'll immediately assume i'm atheist; i know from experience).

There's nothing "in general" about God. He's very specific about Who He is and What He expects from those who follow Him. The imposters, whatever name they go by, don't measure up.

That's what all religions ultimately believe. God is the creator and giver of all.
