No. Grandparents, not even step, are not really even recognized in terms of "rights," unless the parents show a complete lack of ability to raise the kids and a "family issue" arises. Some states have visitation rights laws, but they vary by state. The Supreme Court has held that they basically have no rights.

By title only with no legal standing in family court with no legal rights unless approved by the Judge in cases where birth parents custody is questioned. But for your question the answer is 99% no

no .. real grandparents have a hard enough time getting their rights.. step have no chance..unless their parents have lied to you and told you that you were there real parents and you have been there there whole lives.. then you may stand a chance
