Death is simply a doorway to the afterlife. Can God walk through a doorway? Yes! No problem at all.

before God created the heavens and the earth, there was God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit. Three divine persons, all One. All spirit. Jesus was given a body thru the holy spirit and Mary. Therefore God who was before a spirit, has become the word made flesh. When Jesus died, he rose himself up of his own power, being that he is God.

God the Father is talking about making God the Son Jesus Christ the heir of this whole universe... In a rational world this event can only take place after the death of the father... But in Heaven God makes the rules as we all play the game so we must honestly wait and see...

Jesus, the God-Man, God the Son

John 2:19-22; Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. The Jews therefore said, "It took forty six years to build this temple, and you will raise it up in three days?" BUT He was speaking of the temple of HIS BODY. When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.

Acts 10:40; God raised Him up on the third day, and granted that He should become visible, not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, that is to us, who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.

Acts 13:37; but He whom God raised did not undergo decay.

Romans 8:11; But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you.

John 10:17; The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from my Father.

As you can see, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit all raised the God-Man Jesus from the dead, because they are all God. One God, not three Gods. Just one God who manifests Himself in three persons. They all share the same essence, and the same attributes. Jesus said the Father was greater than He because of the position Jesus took as the God-Man to die for our sins. He humbled Himself and took on the form of a human for that purpose only but He never stopped being God. He willingly submitted to the Father in order to fulfill the purpose He came for. He did not us His own power as God but He totally relied on the power of the Holy Spirit and He did what the Father told Him to. After He accomplished the satisfying justice of God He was exalted back to His position. In John 17:4-5; Jesus said I have brought you glory on earth, by completing the work You gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I HAD with you before the world began. Never will you see God the Father is better than the Son, but Hebrews 1:4; talks about the Son being better than the angels. The Holy Spirit is equal to the Father and the Son.

They are three distinct persons who share the same nature and the same power and authority. They are equal in every way. They never work separately. They have the same mind.

I do hope this helps to explain who raised Jesus and also the One and Only true and living God.

He rose from the dead under his own power!

His body died, but his (and everyone's) spirit never can. By rising, he conquered death and sin and evil. He also proved he was truly God.
