In general - ALL illegal aliens are criminals since they are breaking our laws. They have no right to be here and they have no right to the benefits they get. Their anchor babies should not be citizens since that rewards criminal behavior and the 14th amendment was about children of slaves, not illegal aliens.

This is a LEGAL issue and should be treated as such. Take out the emotion about "they are hard working" and "they are here to build a better life for their families." Sorry but SO WHAT! They are not the problem of the US Taxpayer. Let their home country take care of them. It's not our responsibility to take care of the whole world!!!

We MUST close the border, build the wall, fine or imprison the employers and deport those that don't self deport!

They are not "immigrants" since that infers that they are planning on staying here permanently.

I don't care is the illegal is from England or Peru - they shouldn't be here! ZERO TOLERANCE!

I think that they are a scourge on our society, they could care less about ANY laws, they have no regard for our language or our customs, and could probably care less about being a citizen. They are here to TAKE as much as they can,and generally do not care how they they do It. They have brought In most of the gangs that now reside here, they are bringing disease and sickness, because they are not screened like a LEGAL immigrant .They are RACIST against whites In particular, and play the race card against AMERICANS to hide their real agendas. If our elected officials will not listen to the AMERICAN PEOPLE,and start ENFORCING OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS,I do believe that we as AMERICANS are required to act on our own to protect our country from this FOREIGN INVASION. I do believe that STATE MILITIAS are one course of action, and that some STATE GOVERNORS are considering this as one of many options.........

I think "generally", the laws are the problem, as we have different laws for different ethnicity's, it is by no means easy for a Mexican to get a visa, but is simply a matter of a few papers for a Welshman! I think that once we achieve reform, we can be a greater country, but for a few nay Sayers.

First they are criminals, they have broken the law. If they don't respect the laws of the United States how can you expect them to respect the United States or it's citizens in general. Legal regulated immigration is not bad. Illegal aliens do not try to assimilate they expect Americans to conform to their language and customs. Illegal immigration puts a strain on resources and social programs as well as lost tax dollars. US dollars sent to other countries by illegals here in the United States is a great boon to the economy of other countries. In the case of Mexico it ranks third. Illegal immigration is also a huge national security risk. If the United States cannot remain a sovereign nation and retain it's national identity it will not be long before we no longer exists. This mentality of rape, pillage, take what you can and destroy the rest must stop. Securing our borders is the first step in ending illegal immigration.

I hate to break the information to you yet there are already tens of millions of alternative illegals entering this united states. they might contain a visa and stay even after the visa expired. how many is to many? that's not too many. Thank God of immigrants that make this united states stable.

any illegal "ALIEN" is a criminal
an immigrant is a person legally applying for American citizenship going through the proper channels and waiting in line.
the legal definition of someone entering the USA without documentation illegally is in legal terms refereed to as an illegal alien.

I think it's dishonest and I am a little bit paranoid about people coming into the country illegally. We are in a war with people who love to kill civilians. That bothers me a lot and the fact we dont have a secure border bothers me even more.
I would like to add that, from a third person perspective, it seems to me a slap in the face of all the people who work hard to come to the US legally and and actually want to better the US and be a part of the US instead of coming here to turn the US into the country they fled. It's just a kick in the groin man and of course, nice guys finish last in this instance. Terrible that we should do that to people who are honest and have good intentions for our country.

They are people. Some good people for the most part but they ARE breaking the laws of the land they want to inhabit.

On an individual basis, I am sure I would like lots of them who have come here illegaly if I don't kow that is how they got here.

However, they are still illegal aliens! They still broke our law to gain access to our country. They MUST go home and do things the right way!

Yes Deidre everyone has a right to live and be prosperous.
But does anyone have the right to break the law? By definition, an illegal alien must be breaking the law. Treat them as any other law breaker. Try and punish as is fit.
