i got a speeding ticket about six months ago and they told me i was on supervision. now i just recently got another speeding ticket and was wondering if the myth was true if the tickets u get when ur under 21 can no longer be used against u.

No, that is not true. All citations you receive, are part of your permanent driving record.

No! Your driving record is all yours for 5 years both on your state driving record and for insurance rates. Your point system still intact towards license suspension.

As to other legal infractions, those also stay with you. I know of no states resetting the clock either on 18th or 20th birthdays. However, you can always, at any age, ask the court to seal your past record. This is often done after 2 to 10 years of exemplary behaviour. 6 months ago, not a prayer. You might give it a shot in another 18 months though.

Your supervision has probably ended though. Many states have either under 21 or 18 as "Provisional Driver's License."

With that speeding ticket you now would have to obtain a military or other security clearance waiver.

Nope, sorry. You may be thinking of your juvenile criminal record which is usually sealed when you turn 18. Traffic tickets though, no dice.
