Hi, I would like to know how to spell my name using the Russian alphabet. I understand that going letter for letter isnt necessarily the correct way if you want to keep the pronounciating correct, so my name is pronounced as Lah-Cree-sha. Also, which letters would be used for my initials, LMW? Does the Russian alphabet have a W equivalent?

Kammi S: babelfish does not translate words it does not understand, meaning Proper Nouns and so on.

Лакриша would give the right pronunciation.

No, there's no 'w' in Russian. They normally transliterate using their letter for 'u' which looks like Englsih 'y', so:

ЛМУ

Hi, it would be Лакриша (what a nice name, by the way!) There is a website where you can enter any name and it will come out in the cyrillic alphabet. http://www.languages-of-the-world.us/YourNameIn/Cyrillic.html
And yeah, JJ is right about the LMW and the W.
