Just interested. Could you please post verses from the holy book of whichever religion you believe is driving terrorist activities. Thank you. :)

La ilaha illa Allah: You mean that there are no terrorist who believe in islam or Christianity? Why do they shout praises to allah before they blow themselves up? Is it to confuse anti-terrorist organizations? lol
There are no verses in the koran or Bible that condone or order terrorism? Is that true?

Well, a cursory glance at world events reveals that it is not priests and nuns wrapping themselves in bombs and committing mass atrocities.

As for those who ARE doing such things, that is to say, Muslim “extremists”, they do so because their god and his prophet told them to.

Terrorism is psychological warfare; Muhammad understood its value, and Allah commands its use:

Qur'an:8:12 "I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and His Apostle."

Qur'an:8:57 "If you gain mastery over them in battle, inflict such a defeat as would terrorize them, so that they would learn a lesson and be warned."

Bukhari:V4B52N220 "Allah's Apostle said, ‘I have been made victorious with terror.'"

Qur'an:33:26 "Allah made the Jews leave their homes by terrorizing them so that you killed some and made many captive. And He made you inherit their lands, their homes, and their wealth. He gave you a country you had not traversed before."

Qur'an:59:2 "It was Allah who drove the [Jewish] People of the Book from their homes and into exile. They refused to believe and imagined that their strongholds would protect them against Allah. But Allah came at them from where they did not suspect, and filled their hearts with terror. Their homes were destroyed. So learn a lesson, O men who have eyes. This is My warning...they shall taste the torment of Fire."

Qur'an:33:60 "Truly, if the Hypocrites stir up sedition, if the agitators in the City do not desist, We shall urge you to go against them and set you over them. Then they will not be able to stay as your neighbors for any length of time. They shall have a curse on them. Whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain without mercy - a fierce slaughter - murdered, a horrible murdering."

Furthermore, Allah and his prophet (who admitted that he was successful through terrorism) command the faithful to aggressively pursue non-Muslims until there is no more disbelief in the world:

Qur'an:8:39 "So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world)."

Qur'an:9:88 "The Messenger and those who believe with him, strive hard and fight with their wealth and lives in Allah's Cause."

Qur'an:9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

Qur'an:9:112 "The Believers fight in Allah's Cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed."

Qur'an:9:29 "Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission."

Bukhari:V4B52N44 "A man came to Allah's Apostle and said, ‘Instruct me as to such a deed as equals Jihad in reward.' He replied, ‘I do not find such a deed.'"

Bukhari:V1B2N25 "Allah's Apostle was asked, ‘What is the best deed?' He replied, ‘To believe in Allah and His Apostle Muhammad.' The questioner then asked, ‘What is the next best in goodness?' He replied, ‘To participate in Jihad, religious fighting in Allah's Cause.'"

I guess that’s why we see so much terrorism in the world nowadays…and I guess that’s why we will as long as there are those who faithfully practice what Islam preaches.

Like it or not this is a religious / spiritual war. When Iraq first surrendered they were all ready to sign the new constitution. But when they found out that the constitution was not based on Islamic law and guaranteed religious freedom, that is when they went postal.

Religion is at this time being used by many to thwart "World Unity".
The clouds of illusions are forming around planet earth as we speak.
I have watched and in my humble opinion witnessed the anger that has surface in your questions and answers and this worries me. It grieves my heart to see this.

I'm an atheist, so I cannot quote scripture.

But....some of the terrorist activity is in part to their religious beliefs conflicting with other nation's beliefs. And some is because they don't want other nations ( particularly the US) poking their noses where it doesn't belong. Some is internal conflict as well.

The Koran orders universal slaughter or total dominance of Islam over infidels. That should be enough.
